Shielding Tapes (Copper Foil Based)

COPOLYMER COATED COPPER TAPES


Copolymer coated copper tape is made by lamination of rolled-annealed ETP copper tape to ethylene copolymer film. The copolymer provides excellent bonding to polyethylene based jackets during final extrusion process. Copolymer coated copper tape is used for sheathing medium and high voltage power cables, or as the combination shield/moisture barrier over a wire or tape screen.
Conductivity of the copper tape is min 100 % IACS.

CU-PET


Copper foil in the structure gives a higher degree of shielding and offers protection from external electromagnetic interference. Polyester film provides electrical insulation while assuring high mechanical strength.

CU-PET-SY


Cu-PET-SY is made by lamination of rolled-annealed ETP copper tape to ethylene copolymer film. The copolymer film in the structure provides excellent bonding to polyethylene based jackets during the final extrusion process. Cu-PET-SY tape is used for shielding purposes against interference in low voltage power cables, especially for coaxial cables as a tape screen.
Conductivity of the copper tape is min 100 % IACS.
